Fun and flavorful pizza dough balls perfect for kids parties! These garlic and herb infused bites are served with a simple tomato sauce for dipping.
Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F). Lightly grease a baking sheet with olive oil.
In a small bowl, combine minced garlic, dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and pepper.
On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough slightly. Sprinkle the garlic and herb mixture evenly over the dough.
Gently knead the garlic and herbs into the dough to ensure even distribution.
Pinch off small pieces of dough (about 1 inch in diameter) and roll them into balls.
Place the dough balls on the prepared baking sheet, leaving a little space between each ball.
Brush the dough balls lightly with olive oil.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
While the dough balls are baking, prepare the dipping sauce. In a small saucepan, combine the crushed tomatoes and sugar. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
Simmer the tomato sauce for 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Remove the dough balls from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving with the warm tomato dipping sauce.
