A delicious pizza topped with all the classic elements of a Full English Breakfast! Perfect for a weekend brunch or a fun dinner.
Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven while preheating.
While the oven preheats, cook the sausages. Either bake them according to the package directions, or grill/pan-fry them until cooked through. Once cooked, slice into bite-sized pieces.
In a large frying pan, cook the bacon lardons over medium heat until crispy. Remove from the pan and set aside, leaving the rendered bacon fat in the pan.
Add the sliced mushrooms to the pan with the bacon fat and cook until softened and lightly browned. Season with salt and pepper.
Stretch or roll out the pizza dough to your desired thickness and shape. Place it on a pizza peel dusted with cornmeal or onto a baking sheet.
Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border for the crust.
Sprinkle about half of the cheddar cheese over the tomato sauce.
Arrange the cooked sausages, bacon, sautéed mushrooms, and halved cherry tomatoes evenly over the cheese.
Top with the remaining cheddar cheese.
Carefully slide the pizza onto the preheated pizza stone (or place the baking sheet in the oven).
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
While the pizza is baking, fry the eggs to your liking (sunny-side up or over-easy are ideal). Season with salt and pepper.
Once the pizza is out of the oven, carefully place the fried eggs on top of the pizza.
Garnish with fresh parsley (if using) and serve immediately.
Nutrition per serving (450g)
For a crispier crust, par-bake the pizza dough for 5 minutes before adding the toppings.
If you prefer a runny yolk, you can add the eggs to the pizza in the last 5 minutes of baking to cook them slightly in the oven.
Customize your toppings! Feel free to add baked beans, black pudding, or other traditional Full English Breakfast elements.
Use different types of cheese for a more complex flavor. A mix of cheddar and mozzarella works well.
