A fun and flavorful burger featuring miso-flavored patties and ramen noodle 'buns'.
**Prepare the Ramen Buns:** Cook the ramen noodles according to package directions, omitting the seasoning packet. Drain well.
Divide the cooked ramen into 4 portions. Mix each portion thoroughly with 1/2 beaten egg.
Heat 1/2 tablespoon vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Form each ramen portion into a bun shape (about 4 inches in diameter and 1/2 inch thick). Cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy. Set aside.
**Prepare the Miso Patties:** In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, miso paste, soy sauce, grated ginger, minced garlic, sesame oil, panko bread crumbs, and beaten egg. Mix well to combine.
Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and form into patties.
**Cook the Patties:** Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for 5-7 minutes per side, or until cooked through to an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
**Assemble the Burgers:** Place a miso patty on the bottom ramen 'bun'. Add your desired toppings. Top with the other ramen 'bun'.
Serve immediately.

For extra flavor, you can brush the ramen buns with a mixture of soy sauce and sesame oil before cooking.
Don't overcook the ramen noodles, or they will become mushy when forming the buns.
To add some spice, mix a small amount of sriracha into the ground beef mixture.
You can bake the ramen buns at 350F for 10 minutes to crisp them up instead of pan frying them.
