A sweet, savory, and cheesy Korean street food snack that's incredibly addictive! This version adds scallions and sesame seeds for extra flavor and texture.
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Alternatively, you can use the broiler on low setting.
Grease an oven-safe dish or skillet with butter.
In a large bowl, combine the drained corn, mayonnaise, sugar, and black pepper. Mix well.
Transfer the corn mixture to the prepared dish or skillet.
Top with mozzarella cheese and cheddar cheese (if using).
Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. If using a broiler, watch carefully to prevent burning and broil for only 2-3 minutes.
Remove from the oven and garnish with sliced scallions and sesame seeds.
Serve immediately and enjoy!

For a spicy kick, add a pinch of gochugaru (Korean chili powder) to the corn mixture.
You can use other types of cheese, such as Monterey Jack or Pepper Jack, based on your preference.
For a smoother texture, you can add a small amount of milk or cream to the corn mixture.
To prevent the cheese from burning under the broiler, place the dish on the lowest rack and monitor it closely.
