A comforting apple crumble featuring Jersey Black Butter, perfect after a hearty meal.
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F/Gas Mark 4).
In a bowl, combine the sliced apples and Jersey Black Butter. Mix well to coat the apples thoroughly.
Transfer the apple mixture to a 9-inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.
In a separate bowl, combine the flour, rolled oats, and brown sugar.
Add the cubed cold butter to the dry ingredients. Use your fingertips to rub the butter into the flour mixture until it resembles breadcrumbs. Add the cinnamon if using.
Sprinkle the crumble mixture evenly over the apple filling in the baking dish.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the crumble is golden brown and the apple filling is bubbling.
Let the crumble cool slightly before serving. Serve warm with a generous dollop of clotted cream.

For a richer flavor, melt a tablespoon of butter in a pan and gently saute the apples with the Black Butter before adding to the baking dish.
You can add a handful of chopped nuts (such as almonds or pecans) to the crumble topping for extra texture and flavor.
If the crumble topping starts to brown too quickly, cover the dish loosely with foil during the last 10 minutes of baking.
If you don't have Jersey Black Butter, you can use spiced apple butter or a combination of regular apple butter and a pinch of mixed spice.

A light and refreshing salad featuring sweet Jersey crab meat, crisp apple, and a nutty hazelnut vinaigrette. Perfect as a starter.
"This starter offers a light and refreshing contrast to the rich beef and root vegetables. The sweetness of the Jersey apple and delicate crab meat complements the honey glaze, while the hazelnut vinaigrette provides a nutty depth that echoes the earthiness of the root vegetables without being too heavy.
