A flavorful homemade pizza topped with tender tagine-spiced chicken, briny olives, creamy feta cheese, and a spicy drizzle of harissa. This pizza is a delicious fusion of Moroccan and Italian flavors.
Preheat oven to 450°F (232°C). Place a baking sheet or pizza stone in the oven while it preheats.
In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced or shredded cooked chicken and sprinkle with the tagine spice blend. Sauté for 5-7 minutes, or until the chicken is heated through and coated with the spices. Set aside.
On a lightly floured surface, stretch or roll out the pizza dough to your desired size and shape.
Transfer the pizza dough to a piece of parchment paper.
Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the pizza dough, leaving a small border for the crust.
Top the pizza with the tagine-spiced chicken, black olives, and green olives.
Carefully slide the parchment paper with the pizza onto the preheated baking sheet or pizza stone in the oven.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the toppings are heated through.
While the pizza is baking, prepare the harissa drizzle. In a small bowl, whisk together the harissa paste, honey (if using), and the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool slightly. Crumble the feta cheese over the pizza.
Drizzle the harissa sauce over the pizza. Garnish with fresh cilantro.
Slice and serve immediately.
