A warm and comforting tea made with Korean citron marmalade (Yujacha) and ginger, perfect for a cold winter day. This tea combines the bright citrus notes of Yujacha with the spicy warmth of ginger, creating a soothing and flavorful beverage.
In a saucepan, combine water and sliced ginger.
Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat. Reduce heat and simmer gently for 5-7 minutes to infuse the ginger flavor.
Remove the saucepan from the heat. Strain the ginger-infused water through a fine-mesh sieve to remove the ginger slices (and cinnamon stick, if used).
Stir in the Korean citron marmalade (Yujacha) until dissolved. Taste and add honey if desired, adjusting to your preference.
Pour the tea into mugs and serve warm. Garnish with a thin slice of citron from the marmalade, if desired.

Adjust the amount of Yujacha to your liking. It provides both sweetness and citrus flavor.
For a stronger ginger flavor, simmer the ginger for a longer time (up to 10 minutes).
You can add other spices like star anise or cloves for a more complex flavor profile.
If you don't have fresh ginger, you can use 1/2 teaspoon of ground ginger. Add it after removing the saucepan from the heat and let it steep for a few minutes before serving.
