A surprisingly delicious and decadent snack! Jersey butter, known for its high butterfat content, is gently braised to enhance its nutty, caramel notes. Infused with rosemary and a sprinkle of sea salt, it's perfect for spreading on crusty bread or enjoying straight from the spoon (in moderation!).
Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).
Place butter in an oven-safe skillet or baking dish. It should be a dish where the butter has some room to spread out.
Add the minced garlic and rosemary sprig to the butter.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the butter is melted and has a slightly browned, nutty aroma. Keep an eye on it, as baking times may vary.
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly (about 5 minutes). The butter will solidify as it cools.
Discard the rosemary sprig.
Sprinkle with coarse sea salt and a pinch of black pepper.
Serve warm or at room temperature. Best enjoyed spread on crusty bread or used as a flavorful dipping sauce.

Don't over-bake the butter, as it can burn. Look for a light browning and a nutty aroma.
For a sweeter flavor, add a pinch of brown sugar before baking.
Feel free to experiment with other herbs and spices, such as thyme, sage, or chili flakes.
Braised butter is best enjoyed within a few days. Store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
